Dollar Store Shopping Spree

Every girl likes shopping, and shopping for her guy makes it even more fun. Take $10 and give each of you $5 to go through the local Dollar Store and purchase $5 worth of items for each other (food, candy, household items, picture frames, etc) and then take them back to a special place and share the reasons why you wanted to get those items for one another.

Chinese Make-Out

Cook up a quick veggie stir-fry and make some tasty Jasmin rice. Stop by a Chinese restaurant and ask for chopsticks (even if you have to fib and say you didnt realize they were not in the bag with your order...) and make a nice dinner at home. Many websites allow you to play radio stations from around the world so see if you can find an authentic Chinese music channel to really set the mood.

Sunset Sandwiches

Run by your favorite sandwich shop and pick up a sub large enough for two (guys, make sure you either get everything your lady likes, or have the shop only put the pickles and olives on your side. Oh, and omit the onions if you plan to have any goodnight kisses)...

Take the sub and your lady to the beach with a blanket and watch the sunset. Or, think of a special sentimental place and take your date there (parks that allow you after dark, even the parking lot of where you had your first date) and enjoy a simple meal and good company.

Beach Basket

It's easy to stop into any discount store or drugstore and pick up a pair of beach sandals or flip-flops and a nice gift bag. Guys - always get MEDIUM sizes (don't offend your lady by getting shoes too big for her delicate feet, or too small which will make her fear she has man-sized feet). Write a nice note saying how you would love to share a beachside sunset and stroll and drop that off at her work, or bring it home and surprise her.

Valentine's $10 Delivery

This idea comes from personal experience on Valentine's Day eve --- stop on your way home and pick up a pint of your sweetheart's favorite ice cream treat from a speciality ice cream store (Coldstone is a great one for this TO GO sweet treat)... drop it off at the doorstep in a bag with 2 spoons. From a secret safe distance senda text message to your sweet to open the door. This unexpected and thoughtful gift will surely be a great idea for any occasion or no occasion at all!
